The appeal for me wasnt just about money its was environmental ! My kid has asthma and if I can do my bit for the planet (and save a little as well) then thats good enough for me.

The instant torque is fantastic !
As for the cost factor it currently it takes years to pay off the price difference compared to a petrol engine. I can imagine when the costs are the same the governments will think of a way to tax us.

No more dealing with petrol. Batterys are not as easily flammable (yeah I know they can go nuclear if ruptured) but they are safer IMO.
